  • CT State Capitol: Take a guided tour to learn more about the state’s history
  • Covered Bridges: CT has many covered bridges the longest of these is the West Cornwall Covered Bridge
  • CT Science Center: Science museums are a wonderful way to pass a rainy day or weekend afternoon
  • Fall Colors: Fall in New England is spectacular. Litchfield County is one of the best places to take in fall color
  • Ice Skating: Bushnell Park is the place to go when winter arrives
  • Theatre: Check out Goodspeed Opera House and Yale Repertory Theatre
  • Lighthouse Hopping: Tour some of the lighthouses or view them from land
  • Biking: Bike along the 26 mile of the Farmington River Trail
  • Hamburgers: Louis’ Lunch in New Haven is the birthplace of the hamburger.
