The Best Outdoor Workouts

Hiking Minnewaska State Park was definitely a challenge and an excellent workout. The views reminded me of the Grand Canyon. My preference is to walk or hike. But there are many other activities to get your heart pumping! https://www.newtown-ct.gov. Source for the Newtown Hikers.

Biking is good for your heart and muscles. Cycling is easy on your joints and can improve balance.

Many people enjoy Outdoor Yoga. You can benefit from yoga for relaxing and mood-boosting. It also improves flexibility and strength.

How about Inline Skating/Rollerblading? Now this is not something I would do but it’s an option. Rollerblading will strengthen your core, glutes and legs plus it will burn calories.

If you live near a river, lake or ocean, exercising on the water will also build your core strength and balance. Water Sports like canoeing, kayaking and rowing are good workouts.

I eat small but frequent meals to keep my energy up. And, of course to stay hydrated, I drink plenty of water.

So my recommendations to you is to explore the many opportunities for outdoor workouts. Get Outside!
