Your favorite events are returning in 2021
With mask mandates easing and the number of Americans getting vaccinated increasing, many of our favorite live events are starting to return. I encourage you to venture out to some of these events.
Shakespeare in the Park
Shakespeare in the Park has returned in 2021 at the Delacorte Theatre in Central Park, New York. An adaptation of “The Merry Wives of Windsor” is a free show and runs from July 6 through September 18. Tickets will be distributed via digital lottery.
New York Rennaissance Faire
The New York Renaissance Faire is held every weekend from August 21 through October 3 in Tuxedo, New York. Come see the actors, merchants, performers, knights and even some magic.
Newport Jazz Festival
The famous Newport Jazz Festival runs from July 30 through August 1 in Fort Adams State Park, in Newport, R.I. Enjoy the three days of intimate jazz concerts and jam sessions. Not to be missed!
King Richard’s Faire
King Richard’s Faire is the largest renaissance fair in New England. Games, rides, storytelling, merchants and daring performances is celebrated weekends from September 4 through October 24 and on Labor Day and Columbus Day in Carver, Mass.
The Governors Ball
The Governors Ball will be held September 24 through the 26th in Citi Field, Queens. Featured artists will include Billie Eilish, Megan Thee Stallion, Phoebe Bridgers, Post Malone and more.
Broadway
Most Broadway shows will reopen in the fall. Many venues are planned so check it out and so make your plans for an exciting time in the city.
